The International Culinary Union (ICU) proudly hosted the February-March 2020 ICU Recipe Contest, an exciting online competition that brought together culinary talents from around the globe. This year, 17 countries participated, with 41 chefs presenting 55 unique recipes. Our contestants hailed from Algeria, Bangladesh, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Denmark, Egypt, Greece, India, Nepal, North Macedonia, Pakistan, Philippines, Romania, Serbia, Syria, and Venezuela.

The contest's popularity was immense, reaching a staggering 366,943 people and generating 47,789 engagements, 6760 likes, 4938 comments, and 1692 shares across various social media platforms. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the chefs who participated and the enthusiastic audience who supported them.

And now, the winners are:

• Gold Medal: Charis Liouvas from Greece

• Silver Medal: Marietta Cabasag from the Philippines

• Bronze Medals: Didi Ivan from Romania and Mohan Kundu from India
