Poaching

Poaching involves gently cooking food in a simmering liquid, such as water, broth, or wine.

Tips:

    Keep the liquid at a gentle simmer, not a boil, to prevent toughening delicate foods like fish or eggs.


  2. Submersion:

    Ensure the food is fully submerged in the liquid for even cooking.


  3. Flavour the liquid:

    Infuse the poaching liquid with herbs, spices, or aromatics to add subtle flavors to the food.
