Smoking

Smoking is a technique of cooking and flavoring food by exposing it to smoke from burning or smoldering material, often wood.

Tips:

  1. Choose the right wood:

Different woods impart different flavors; for example, hickory gives a strong, smoky flavor, while applewood offers a milder, sweeter taste.

  2. Low and slow:

Smoke at a low temperature over a long period to allow the smoke to penetrate the food deeply.

  3. Ventilation:

Ensure proper ventilation to control the intensity of the smoke and prevent food from becoming too bitter.
