The Assiette Gourm’Hand association, in partnership with the technical school Lycee Sainte-Marie de Bailleul (Hauts-de-France), is organising the 20th edition of the contest that has borne its name since 2003!
This competition, held under the patronage of the President of the French Republic, was set up to highlight the work of people with mental disabilities or mental health problems, providing catering services in sheltered workshops, inclusive restaurants or as part of a work-integration project.
It is also an opportunity to promote regional products. This pioneering and unique competition also seeks to encourage international encounters, in which foreign teams have been taking part since 2010.
The 2025 event will take place on Saturday 15 November from 7am to 6pm at the Lycee Professionnel Sainte-Marie in Bailleul. As in previous years, the teams will be judged by a panel of professionals from the culinary and medical/social professions, supported by the Académie Nationale…
